No. They don't want gross old men their dad's age to look, actually. Nothing is more disgusting than noticing that stupid-eyed look from an old man who thinks he is being subtle as he sneaks glances at your body.

Women want the men they are interested in to look. In most cases, this is moderately attractive men around their own age. It is rarely the gross old man in the office who posts online about what to do when "there's a super hot young lady" around.

LOL. Mids 40s guy is "gross old man"

Found the angry ugly lady!

To people in their 20s, yes, mid-40s people are gross and old. My mid-40s H is hot AF to me but at 23 I would have found his dad bod and wrinkles pretty gross.

This. Get a clue.

I don’t get it. There are a number of posters in here who say the “hot woman” is dressing attractively to get comments from the “right guy” - which she’d welcome, but doesn’t want to be “skeeved” by a 50ish “ogler.” So, we agree that she’s trying to attract attention, and it’s ok if the right demographic responds, but somehow it’s disgusting, gross, and a fireable offense if the wrong demographic responds? However, it’s still ok for the wrong demographic to respond if he has power and money (CEO)? It’s like saying porn is art for the right demographic, but it’s despicable trash for the wrong demographic.

dp.. I'm a woman, and your post is ridiculous. Old men have eyes, too.

Sure, women want the attractive men to look, and maybe make a comment, but not gross men.

Sorry, but women cannot demand which men ogle them and which don't. That's not how it works.

The men who say this are always the same ones who freak out if a gay man treats them the way they treat women.

I had a gay coworker who was constantly hitting on straight men. His favorite line was "Wow, your biceps look really good in those scrubs." The men always immediately called HR. I have no idea how he kept his job, he was interviewed by HR a dozen times that I knew of.

The point is you don’t know why she’s dressing how she dresses and it’s none of your business. You may think she’s dressing suggestively to send some signal to men and she might have put on a shirt that just shrunk in the wash. Keep your eyes on her eyes and act like a professional in the workplace.

These days, women are so hypocritical. If it serves their interest, it’s cool, it’s great, it’s modern, it’s girl power, but if doesn’t, it’s gross, it’s nasty, it’s old, it’s white male, it’s offensive, it’s wrong. Get over yourselves.

Or she likes it and the power it gives her. Either way - don’t do anything

Maybe just stop oogling the young girls, you are why they choose the bear.

I think you’re responding to a straw man. On average, men in the office notice a nice-looking female, but I’ve never witnessed ogling. Really. Never.

Taylor Swift - the cheerleader of girl power - has fallen for a sports guy - the most stereotypical of men/maleness. Yet, that stereotypical guy is the source of all that is “gross.” Ironic.

It’s a well known fact that women of all ages dress up for other women. When we get dressed up for the office, we are seeking the unconscious approval of our other female colleagues. We aren’t looking for some creeper 50 year old to tell us that we look pretty. So gross.

The approval that you are attractive to the male gaze.

Women under thirty who are extremely attractive absolutely are aware that they are hot, without fail. They dress t sexy to climb the ladder - every time.

My company we don’t hire them. The HR lady somehow hires very grumpy and frumpy women.

This sort of generalization is not true of any group every time. You are assuming that every single young attractive woman is completely focused on her looks and where that alone will get her, have you never met anyone who wasn’t as shallow and superficial as you?
