She's a pill for doubling down and engaging in this petty tug-of-war. But his overreaction of trashing her already made drink is so juvenile and punitive it's wildly out of proportion.

DH is mentally ill. It does not matter what temperature the water is going into a kettle. I can’t believe people fight over stuff like this, it must be exhausting. Just communicate with each other and figure it out.
