The alternatives to "abortion on demand" are (1) forced birth (2) forced abortion. In both of those alternatives, it's the government deciding about the pregnancy, not the pregnant person and medical providers. I think the pregnant person and medical providers should decide about the pregnancy, not the government. So yes, I'm going with abortion on demand.

As to rare - Uwanted pregnancies should be rare. Unviable pregnancies should be rare. Pregnancies and pregnancy complications that endanger the health of the mother should be rare. Abortions should not be any more or less rare than any other medical procedure.

No, of course they did not turn Virginia for Youngkin. That's the point. There were more Gen Z voters in 2022 than in 2021. There will be more Gen Z voters in 2023 than in 2022. There will be more Gen Z voters in 2024 than in 2023. And so on. And Gen Z voters, as a group, turn out to vote against candidates pushing the "trans stuff w/ kids and school".

Yes. Absolutely. 100%. The government will not be permitted to regulate a woman’s body.

Interesting choice of words, however, considering many of these Draconian abortion laws would require women to being non-viable fetuses to term.

Not sure why you bring up Germany or the Czech Republic, however. How are the relevant and why would we ever emulate them?

My two Gen Z kids are 18 and 20 and eligible to vote in November. Both are registered and have absentee ballots (they will be away at college) already.
