I agree. I am sorry for the pain she has suffered because of her alopecia but she should have made a documentary on alopecia instead of on Bama rush. She hijacked the documentary and made herself look so self absorbed before of it.

In the documentary a creepy fraternity mother said “no messes with the University of Alabama”….which I found intriguing… and the apparent (?!) oppo attack against the film makes me even more intrigued…no dog in the fight but I do like a juicy story

WTF are they freaking out about? I learned literally nothing.

Agree. Reviews are abysmal. They don’t have to try so hard to sink it.

I am liking it fine now that I’m skipping the director’s vignette’s. Agree that it’s basically unwatchable with them.

It’s not supposed to be Emmy award winning. It’s like reality TV. Accept it for what it is, and enjoy.

What's to enjoy? It was stupid.

To each her own! Reality TV is a huge industry and wildly popular, and I put this in the same category. It’s a view into the rather sad (but fascinating) world of southern sorority culture. Layer in racism, class, eating disorders, roofies…

I do think the Director could have done more with her material. Maybe there should be part 2…or a series

Or an actual documentary by someone else entirely.

Is this for HS girls who envision going to college to join the hot girl sorority? I guess this is aspirational for some. There must be a variety of promotions out there.

Can we assume you don't approve of half-time shows featuring the gyrations of certain singers?

I don't understand how this imagery is meant for other young women. The college students are giggling into each other's hair and the long line of them in shorts from behind. Looks geared to a male audience.

Yes, you are absolutely right. These sorority girls and aspirants are involved in courtship displays. They hope to attract young men from good families.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

Hmm...

Seems like there is a market for this sort of thing.
If someone else wants to take a crack at this, maybe they'll do a better job.

The worst documentary I have ever watched. The director knew nothing about sororities and asked all the wrong questions. Waste of time.

There's absolutely a market for this. The execution was just poor.
