+1 I can't speak about Elon, but I visited UR with my DS last summer and was very impressed by their business and leadership programs. The business school is quite competitive. |
Do you live in a bubble? No one cares where you went to undergrad after your first job. |
| If someone can convince Elon to guarantee a job for every Elon graduate.. |
Again, why so nasty? We have a few Elon grads and they are all bright, hardworking, and no different than any other new hire. Did you get your heart broken by someone who went to Elon or something? |
Maybe "people" do that. (I don't, but I'm mature and secure.). But do. you really need to do that to 18 year olds who have just been through this bruising process and have finally made a decision. To what end? To make yourself feel superior? |
Y'all obv. can't take a joke I don't know a single soul that went to Elon.
|
Does UR do this? |
| The gap is definitely narrowing between these two schools. At our HS, of those that got into both, 2 chose Richmond and 2 chose Elon. People are increasingly turned off by the heavy frat scene and snobbery at Richmond. |
Maybe the Elon kids received scholarships. |
| Does anyone know if Richmond still has that strong men's and women's college split. DC nearly attended out of interest back in 2016. |
| Richmond for anti-woke craziness! The college has only offered two courses in Africana Studies and by god it should stay that way! No more wokes. |
I'm not understanding what you can find out here that you can't find out by searching their websites? |
| Fun fact: Elon college has the lowest percentage of pell eligible students, surpassing even high point university |
Great analogy of Clemson vs Duke. So funny how people want to deny the huge gap in the intellectual capacity of the student bodies. Very frustrating. But also funny. |
Th stats you cite represents only a fifth of the students: those few who submitted scores. But most of the kids at both are in the middle and the same as each other. As with most colleges. |
