| The mask mandate is a farce and political theater for everyone except our school aged kids. I went to a show at the Fillmore silver spring yesterday and 5% of people were wearing masks. I’m boostered and at this point, just want to get covid so I don’t have to worry about being stranded by international travel. |
I am all for celebration, but I am not for premature celebration. |
that's been the motto for the past 1.5 years, though. that's the problem. |
| I am glad to hear this I want the mask mandate to stay in place for now. |
Nothing would stop you from wearing an N95 mask around yourself if the mandate was lifted. |
Seriously. The white liberal elitist on their moral superiority podium making sweeping generalizations about the poors and POC. White rich people don't spread COVID do they. |
No. |
Pretty much. They all traveled for Thanksgiving and took their masks off at meemaws house, and now there are quite a few outbreaks. |
Not happening. Sorry you’re disappointed. |
OK. So let’s close the restaurants, return them to takeout only and keep the mask mandate. Problem solved. |
The “problem” is that so many Americans are impatient, entitled, selfish toddlers. |
That’s nice. Protection improves when both parties are masked, so you can keep yours on too. Thanks! |
Yeah, why can't they all just do what you say they should? |
Tell me you don’t have any friends without telling me you don’t have any friends. |
Nah. Ask your dental hygienist. She has been working around unmasked patients for the past year. Her N95 protects her from the unmasked patients spewing their aerosols all over the office. Wear your mask as long as you want. You have the choice. Let the rest of us have the choice to take our masks off when we want. Why have people become so controlling of others?? |
