So when does that shift occur from pandemic to endemic? I feel frustrated as the other poster. When does Moco let this end? Why are kids still wearing masks on the playground at recess? Why do I need to wear a mask if I'm triple vaccinated? What's the point of wearing a mask in a restaurant if I'm pretty much not wearing it at all while eating? |
|
What frustrates me is DC and VA have no mask mandates and there is no real significant difference in results. The virus doesn't stop on one side of the river...
And MOCo has a higher vax rate, I believe (although that may have changed). It makes no sense. |

Sometimes the real world is frustrating. It's a shame that a dangerous disease is cramping everyone's style. I mean that. It's a shame, but not the biggest shame under these extreme circumstances.
Put on a good mask and be grateful cooler heads than yours are trying to keep your family safe from the long-term disability that long covid seems to cause. |
It makes no sense because DC and VA made a dumb decision. Be grateful you have better leadership. |
| Just remember, once you get to your table or bar stool you are safe and can remove your mask. |
Wearing a mask some of the time while in a restaurant is still better than wearing a mask none of the time while in a restaurant, no? |
| Grow up, be responsible and wear a mask. Really, how hard is that? |
Ok selfish. Its easy for you to say relax when some of us don't want to get covid, be sick and possibly die. This is a real emergency. |
For how long? |
Right, as if its that simple. |
If you don't have fear of covid, you need to get your mental health checked. Everyone hates wearing masks but if you give covid to that store clerk, she could get very sick or die and then you will help entitled people like you who have to be out shopping and dining in restaurants? |
For now. |
So indefinitely. |
The rest of the country has moved on. Masking is a waste of public willpower. Put the time, money and energy into vax. |
Really? You think wearing a mask from walking from the door to your table makes any meaningful difference? The studies show that vaccination, not masks, reduce the spread of covid. I thought Elrich said last week that like 95% of eligible 12 and up were vaccinated. Our rates are low. Our hospitals are open. Why are we living with so much restriction? |
