What is the college coach attendance like at this event. Last year it was good, curious to see if it will start to drop off with more clubs switching.

I love Socal showcases. They were my favorite for vacationing reasons....but a waste for recruitment for east coast kids....in my opinion.

NC showcases are my least favorite but much better for recruitment for east coast kids

FCV 08s lost 7-0 in their first game. Should be said the Nationals team they lost to are #5 in the US though.

Nationals beat VDA 3-2 at Jeff Cup in March, was a fun end to end match.

Drop off? Some clubs may have switched leagues but overall GA went from 69 clubs last year to 80 clubs this year.

Great turnout and comparable to ECNL TN. Both NCAA championship participants are in attendance. I still believe that GA dissolve and teams should move to USYS NL. There is only room for one elite league. You don't need three tiers of elite leagues. That is silly.

You went down the list and compared who signed up for both showcases? Why?

2. Duke, UVA, etc are not going to Cali to find talent. They already know who they are recruting.

7 NC colleges at GA

9 MD colleges at ECNL
4 MD colleges at GA

4 DC colleges at ECNL
1 DC college at GA

21 PA colleges at ECNL
10 PA colleges at GA

So no matter which league your kid plays in your options for college are really restricted.
