Ummm....it's been proven now that what the authorities say happened DIDN'T happen.
He peed in public and pulled down a poster and embellished a ridiculous story afterward. Everyone is making such a federal case about such a forgettable story. |
That's not what happened though. Besides that, I'm not convinced that calling someone holding a gun on you and demanding the contents of your wallet a robbery is much of an embellishment. |

Lochte deserves a medal for bravery in taking on the Brazilian security guards who held a cocked gun to his head.
Lochte did not flinch and was willing to give up his life to defend the honor of the US! |
Ryan: "I'm going to be on Deewits next season." No Ryan, it's "DWTS." |
Nooooo...I was so looking forward to next season. I hope he goes early. |
Well gosh! If the NYPOST says so....
|
Yup. The America haters on this thread won't give up on the ugly American narrative. The real news is actually how corrupt Brazil is. |
So very proud of all those who won medals and especially the magnificent Americans who won the medals in swimming. Lochte ruined it for them with his idiotic behavior and for that he should be banned from competitive swimming for at least five years. |

Lochte has been summoned to appear in Rio:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/olympics/rio-2016/2016/08/25/police-summon-ryan-lochte-rio-olympics-robbery/89348730/ Will he have the cojones to appear? No charges have been announced against Lochte and police are expected to conclude their investigation this week, the network reported. The result of the case --- including any charges --- would be funneled through U.S. federal authorities, leaving open the possibility that Brazil could ask Lochte to be extradited if charges are filed. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/olympics/rio-2016/2016/08/25/police-summon-ryan-lochte-rio-olympics-robbery/89348730/ |
| I wouldn't go if I were him....no way. What would be the point. |
| The U.S. is not going to extradite for pee pee and paper. |
It would be good for his name, in the international community. He would need to be prepared to pay $50k at a minimum, probably significantly more. Financially, having lost all those sponsors, he may not be able to afford returning, literally. |
Yep. |
Oh please....good for his name? This is a smaller blip than Phelps' DUI was. Any reasonable person would think he was nuts if he went back there. |
