| My daughter went to K and 1st with this kid and they became friends. I met the kid's dad a few times and found him generally attractive. Nice. Friendly. In good shape. The usual. Then COVID-19 came and of course everyone was at home for 1.5 years. Anyway, this fall school started and I noticed his daughter wasn't at the school anymore (well, my daughter noticed she wasn't in the same class). Fast forward to this past week and I'm dropping my daughter off for track camp and he's one of the lead coaches! I see his daughter there and our kids start talking. Then we spoke for a few minutes and I felt like I was around an old college crush or something. Now that he's my daughter's coach he's even hotter! I can't stop thinking about him. I know that's bad. Very bad. But, why is he hotter now just because I found out he coaches? I seriously have not stopped thinking about him since yesterday. Help. |
| Wait, is he single or married? |

I bet OP is married, he is married.
He looks delicious because you can't have him OP. |
| Fathers who do more than the bare minimal are always more attractive to moms. |
The moms on my son’s soccer team were all over my husband when he was Coach. It was like a fan club. I never saw the other kids’ dads. The moms were at every Lea rice and every game singing my handsome hubby’s praises. |
| My younger brother is a widower and a soccer coach and he jokes about how some of the soccer moms come on to him and often call him. On weekends when they have games and the dads are there the moms might wave at best. It’s different during the week. |

Stop
Op, this is terrible |
Why is this terrible if they are both single. Or married in open relationships? |
| Not a big deal, you have a crush. Enjoy it. Probably it will last a few months and one day not be there. |
| Gross, please don't flirt with him. It's ok to have a crush but you could make him extremely uncomfortable for the rest of the year by 1 moment of inappropriate flirting. It happened to me and now I feel uncomfortable over something I had no control of. |
I remember some of the soccer mom's drinking white wine out of water bottles at late afternoon soccer practices. They could definitely get flirty. |
There was a dad at our preschool like this. He was mostly a SAHD who did a lot of running and cycling and would occasionally work at a running store, but the moms in their class (across the hall from my DD’s classroom) were always asking him about his races. Fan club is right. Plus he’s British and has the accent. |

If you’re both single, go for it!
Otherwise, break out your Lelo and stay away. |
My kid runs youth track. The lead coach is new this year for my kid's group. He is attractive and ran track in high school and college and is still clearly fit. Starting out my kid's group had only two parent volunteers to help. Now, there are six. All woman .
