Wasn't it just last year that they were going to combine the sexes (genders, whatever) starting in fifth grade for sex education?

And, this gender thing is controversial. And, they do address it in elementary school. There are very different viewpoints on this and the "science" is questionable.

Frankly, I was shocked that they wound up keeping the sexes separate for FLE starting in 5th. They were so gung-ho about mixing them, even though the vast majority of parents didn't want it. I wonder why (in that instance) they actually decided to listen to what parents were saying to them.
