Frankly, I was shocked that they wound up keeping the sexes separate for FLE starting in 5th. They were so gung-ho about mixing them, even though the vast majority of parents didn't want it. I wonder why (in that instance) they actually decided to listen to what parents were saying to them.

A teacher describing the world our kids move through -- a world that has classmates with gay parents, and that has transgender classmates -- is not "ideology." It's just a description of what our kids are seeing. I don't understand why you think the kids won't see it.

If the survey results said we shouldn't teach about dinosaurs, that wouldn't make it okay to cut dinosaurs out of the curriculum. But nobody is telling the kids they should feel any certain way about dinosaurs, let alone be a dinosaur.
