Where are Traditional Conservatives?

transgender agenda in our public schools

There is no transgender agenda. I'm a teacher. I'd just like them to keep their cell phones put away. And, no one cares if someone is transgender, especially not other students. It's the Karen parents that can't handle it.

Do you understand you can only be racist if you have privilege? Do you understand what DEI is?

Stop listening to ill-informed republican talking points.

See bold. BIPOC are not capable, by definition, of being or doing anything racist.

Only whites, who benefit from unearned white privilege because of their skin-color, can be racists.

This is simple CRT 101. Everybody knows it.

Good economy, ending wars, famine, pestilence and disease and letting people live their lives - pretty much the agenda the Dems have varried out for the last half century.

US Debt Clock site lists $175 billion saved, and the deficit number is essentially flat.

The border is just as secure today as it was this time last year.
There have not been $175 billion saved, where on earth did you get that tripe?

The border isn't closed. People can still come across, just as they did before January 20th.

That, and most of them cross legally. The real issue is people who overstay their visas and never return to their original country. It is (mostly) not a border security problem.

While I find Trump’s blunt, NYC-style of talk rather distasteful, and no one admires his family history of infidelity and divorce, his policies are the opposite of what you progressives have put in place over the THREE (3) terms of President Obama.

And let’s stop pretending it was demented Biden directing the country; Obama ran things from behind the curtain.

You cheered on the invasion of our country, demonized our police, and rammed through a truly weird transgender agenda in our public schools, which even my gay friends find really weird.

BTW - I do agree with you progressives in favor war in Ukraine until victory; I want to see Putin’s evil-empire 2.0 completely collapse because I have family in Europe, and I know there will never be peace or real security in Europe until the Putin / puppet Medvedev regime collapses. Putin can’t be trusted.

What on earth do you see as pro-family values in a man who has 5 children by three different women, cheated on at least two of his wives, and brags that he can grab women by the puSy? And his co-president, who no one voted for, has 14 children by more women than anyone seems to be able to keep track of- only some of while he’s been married to.

What tells values to do you see him when he uses the Bible as a prop and has no idea what’s inside? There’s zero evidence that he’s a religious person. . . .

I’m the PP you responded to. As your first point:

Now do Bill Clinton and JFK. I’ll wait.

To the second: I don’t see Trump as a religious person, but Mike Pence (a man whose faith and values I admire) did not see Trump that way either. So what?

America is a secular country: I do not need a president who shares my religious faith; I need one who respects the Constitution and who puts America first; given the choice between Trump and racism-supporting Kamala Harris and her domestic-violence-prone husband, it was a simple choice:

Trump/Vance.

BTW - I trust Trump to respect and restore religious tolerance on college campus across the USA; something Kamala failed to do.

More right wing BS.

Neither Bill Clinton (30 years ago) nor JFK (60 years ago) were re-elected after their excploits were known. And that you have to go back 2-3 generations to find remate examples is ridiculous. Both had one wife, both had kids only with that one wife and i could go on. Neither is even close to the moral shame that Trump brings to the party of "family values."

The fact that you see Trump as actually putting America First is laughable. He is literally degrading our country, its economy and its standing on the international stage with each passing day.

Taxing the wealthy and corporations to better fund programs that help working class/middle class Americans.

Overturning Citizens United.

Streamlined immigration system that offers more protection and dignity than sneaking across the border.

Stronger supports for young families (national paid parental leave, childcare subsidies and/or increasing the dependent FSA amount, more federal investment in public schools, increasing child tax credits, etc.)

Not having a sexual predator in the White House.

Fixing student loans so that people don’t pay more interest than the principal.

Expanded first time homebuyer tax credits/low interest loans.

Gun reform (e.g. taxes and limitations on ammo, strict liability for parents who don’t lock up their guns, waiting periods and background checks across all states).

Expanded access to mental health treatment including inpatient centers and drug rehabilitation.

Strong relationships with national allies and distancing from ties to Russia. Stop trying to buy Greenland.

And also I do agree with some conservative values. I’d love to see stricter enforcement of criminal laws, especially very harsh consequences for gun crimes and DUI. I’m also 100% for anything that will help limit fentanyl coming across our borders.

Let’s talk about your #1 priority, taxing the wealthy. If a family earns $1 million in ordinary income in a year, what do you think is the fair share they should pay in taxes?

This is the problem. People get defensive about the family making $1M (who I agree is wealthy) but this isn’t who the main problem is. It’s companies like Tesla paying no income tax despite making over $2B that is wrong. It’s the people sitting on their capital gains and using it as leverage loan collateral (essentially using these gains as an asset while not having to pay any taxes). It seems reasonable that once someone has amassed a certain amount of wealth they should be incentivized to keep that money flowing through the economy.

And I also think we need a shift from people protecting “their money” at all costs. People make money thanks to our treasury. Money insured because the FDIC. Commerce happens because of taxpayer investments in infrastructure. So if you make a lot of money thanks to all these taxpayer investments then you should provide enough money back in taxes for the privilege of living in a society that continues to function. I mean at some point if we don’t make sure to spread wealth we will end up with mansions surrounded by slums and civil uprisings like other countries with income disparity. If I had a billion dollars I would certainly rather live in a country that is stable with a good quality of life than be the lord among the serfs.

Nice speech, but what percentage do you think is fair for wealthy people to pay?

Not because she "cackled."

Fine, but do you have a serious, honest answer to the question? I bet you don’t.

And I meant to add: you created a multi-billion dollar DEI or DEIA “industry.” The fact is:

DEI = racism. I cannot and will not support racism; will you?

DEI is more than just race-based. Or do you not agree in equal pay for a woman doing the same job as a man? I'm in a technical field and was paid, on average, 10-15% less per year compared to men in comparable roles with nearly identical experience, until DEI policies at my company made adjustments for salary differences. Guess that makes me one of those DEI beneficiaries who didn't actually earn her way, right???

And the "A" in the "DEIA" you refer to deals with accessibility. Do you not have a family member or friend with any sort of physical impairment? Blind, deaf, wheelchair user, etc?

Statements like this are a big part of why Trump is president again.
