When I was younger, it was 100% physical attraction all the way.
Now in my forties, while I still think physical attraction is important, even more important to me is WHO the person really is. Personality traits, career status, financial success, etc. For instance, a hot guy who was my age and working at Burger King would turn me off. Even more so, if he was unemployed. A guy who treated others like shit and was cocky and arrogant would never get a second date w/me. There is something about a man who has a good career and makes enough money where he can live comfortably that turns me on. I reconnected w/this guy on Facebook who I was SO in love w/in high school. This guy was not only hot, he was on the Varsity football team, was Homecoming Prince for 2 yrs straight and was voted "Best Looking" in our class Senior yearbook. He was very cocky and stuck~up then, but because he was so hot...he could be that way then and girls still wanted him. 27 yrs later we met for coffee. He's still cute (though not hot), but he doesn't have a job now and told me he hasn't worked for the past 3 1/2 yrs. He spends his day selling drugs to his neighbors and selling stuff on E~bay. Now his cockiness is a huge turn off plus the way his life has turned out. Old age gives you wisdom and a better perspective. |
What if you met the young guy in hs now...would you be interested? I would be. His hotness would still outweigh his cockiness even though I was older. Also would you have been as attracted to the older version of him if he'd become a doctor? |

I went back to school a few years ago and took a literature class. The professor and i had some crazy chemistry. He was nerdy. However i found some of his published work and found out he was so dirty....it drove me crazy. |

Personality plays a huge role in whether I find a man attractive or not. If they are passionate about something. If they are driven in their field to be successful. If they care about others and want to make the world a better place. These things all outweigh the physical attributes in my opinion.

Yes, this guy is definitely passionate about his work...makes me think that it would translate to his skills in the bedroom too. |
You might be talking about my husband! Average physical attractiveness, off-the-charts charisma. He's had so many of his students fall in love with him over the years. And he's almost always completely clueless about it. |
Bingo - the guys that have the charisma but are clueless about their charm to women are the most attractive ones. Something about his cluelessness makes him a project that draws you into the pursuit. |

Personality!
I'm a MWM and I can tell you, from my experiences, a woman with a beautiful mind will win every time! I have met some drop dead goegeous women that had the personality of a half dead skunk! They couldn't hold a conversation if you removed their ability to talk about themselves. Period! I have also met some not-so-attractive women that have a personality that would make you think that GOD has a very cruel and unusual streak to him/her. The carry on a conversation as if that big, green, fuzzle mole on the end of their nose is just a Halloween prop.. PERSONALITY accounts for most of a woman's attributes! |
| If I was perfectly honest, it is a guy that on the surface seems like he has a lot going for him (looks, charisma, success in his career) but has some deep down flaws. I am a sucker for a project. Before the haters chime in, I know most that men don't want to be fixed and yes, this has led for some really crappy people to piss on me. |
I'll let you fix me... I only ask one thing in return... |
Damn, that's me to a T! 6'0" with a goatee and driven... Wassup girl...? lol |
| Curvy redheads, strong legs, a bright smile, a deep laugh... a tattoo or two... a quiet demure exterior that hides an animality in the bedroom. #dreamgirl |
| long blonde hair, big green eyes, world class breasts, ass that won't quit and legs that go all the way up |
Are you cute and between 27-37?lol If so, holla. |
