What makes someone attractive/hot to you?

Do you find that they doesn't necessarily have to be drop dead gorgeous or handsome? How much of a role does personality, sense of humor, flirty nature affect your perception of them.

Just wondering because I met this guy and didn't think that much of him until I saw him in action teaching and got to know him a bit better as we chatted before class started and now I am totally infatuated with him. I used to believe in lust at first sight, but this person has me questioning all of that.

You are biologically programmed to breed with as many facially symmetrical, physically fit, healthy specimens as possible. You were socialized to accept fug and/or old men. Notice how this socialization doesn't reciprocate or benefit women.

for man, it is normally love at first sight.

I didn't say this guy wasn't good looking, just not drop dead gorgeous...he's definitely good looking and not that much older than me.
I don't think I've been socialized to accept fug/old men...maybe ugly girls are, but I am definitely at least cute.

Really? You don't think a man could be seduced by someone he wasn't attracted to at first sight?

What does he teach? I think I know him. His personal life is seriously f-d up. They all fall in love with him and he claims he doesn't encourage it, but he gets off on turning them down.

Really? I don't think it's the same guy. He's oblivious to me crushing on him. Oblivious. sigh.

I'm all about the body, as long as the face is easy on the eyes.

I go nuts for a guy over 6'3", broad shouldered, and very sturdy and strong. I love me some upper body. I like the classic norther european man.

The only height exception I will make is Daniel Craig (he is pratically a midgit), but that is because of his amazing chest.

Tom Selleck back in the day. I could have done without the 'stash, but I still would have loved to crawl on top of him and give him my special Reverse Cowgirl action.

21:53 I just laughed so hard.

21:39, pretty sure many women like the physical attributes you described, or wouldnt turn them down. i think the point of the post was what, beyond looks initially, fuels attraction?

A man who is kind, generous, thoughtful, and also confident, is the sexiest kind of man.

I love quiet confidence and those endearing moments when my date says or does something that reminds me of someone I already love. Like when a guy has a quirky habit that my brother has or I discover that he loves the same obscure, hole in the wall dive that I love but few appreciate. Just a genuine character. Oh, and a passion for something is important...can be cool, can be geeky, but something that causes his eyes to light up when he speaks about it.

Physically, 5'9 or taller and not fat. Goatee is a must. Ambition.

I'm getting horny.
