Oh thanks I guess I misunderstood that. I do think the infertility one is a troll though based on the info you did have and how insensitive the poster was.

Just to be clear, the poster who posted the 84 threads is not the same poster from the infertility forum. They are two different posters and, for what it is worth, the infertility poster claims innocence (though I am still convinced by the evidence available to me).

I don't think all these threads meet the definition of troll. Posting 8 different threads about dating is more to me someone who is bored and looking for different input and preservatives than trolling.

Even posting from someone else's perspective about a real situation isn't trolling to me either.

A troll is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people or posts inflammatory posts for their own amusement. They like to stir the pot and get people going. That to me is completely different from that the OP here is doing.

Sorry, same poster... I actually just clicked on almost all of the threads and the pattern seems more like it's a case of very low self esteem, little to no confidence & not only attention seeking, but seeking approval as well

I did read. OP never actually admitted posting all of the threads. She just got nasty. Maybe like a teen?

Are all posts from the same device? If they're all from one phone then it's likely one person. If they are from a mix of devices it could be multiple people. All from a single computer - most likely one person but could be multiple.

I wouldn't make an allegation that could alienate a valued user if I had any doubt about the accusation. While I cannot be 100% sure that all of the threads were started by a single poster, I am sure enough. I'm not going to explain why I am fairly certain because that only helps people to avoid being caught.

It is also very weird that so many posters are either defending or making excuses for this poster. If you folks like being trolled, I won't bother exposing them. Traffic will certainly go up and I'll make more money for less work.

No, please, Jeff, Keep calling out the trolls. I'm very annoyed that someone has the time to start 80+ threads just to mess with people. I, for one, take threads seriously and really try to give good advice and support. Knowing I'm being lied to and that is someone's idea of fun really annoys me. I call out trolls, sometimes to your annoyance as you have asked us not to, but they really destroy the community. I will say that I report more now than call out a troll in a thread, or I wait more time to see where the thread goes before saying anything in the thread. When in doubt, like with the weird autoimmune poster, I don't say anything but I also don't try to help.

This is interesting. The OP of that thread claims to have been diagnosed with DOR and to be infertile. However, as recently as yesterday, she has posted about being in her second trimester of pregnancy. She has previously posted about being pregnant as well. In the discussion about donor eggs, she never mentioned being currently pregnant, despite repeatedly discussing DOR.
