Ladies:Do you wait for the guy to initiate the second date?

Had a date with a great lady last week. She told me she had a nice time. She mentioned meeting up for a coffee break, but then had an unexpected meeting and cancelled on me. That was midweek. We've chatted off an on since then. Mostly teasing each other, but done serious convos too if it matters. No communication in the last 3 days, except the liked a photo of me and my dog on Instagram. Has she lost interest? Have I been friend zoned? Is she waiting for me to initiate date number 2?

I’m a woman and normally somewhat traditional, but I think that since she’s the one who had to cancel the coffee, it would have been nice if she’d suggested the next activity afterward, but it doesn’t sound like she’s trying to blow you off. If you’d like to see her again, ask.

I understand the hesitation because normally if the woman cancels or cannot make a suggested date/time, she will usually recommended an alternate time if she is interested.

But in this case you have to give her the benefit of the doubt and ask her again.
