Dana Edwards-who is on leave as of 1/31/24 must be mentioned as well.

Is Patrick Murphy employee #1?

Dana Edwards is back at work

As of today? Cause she was definitely on admin leave last week.

Who is employee 11?

So all this fuss is about a few anonymous complaints?

What it really comes down to is the social studies teacher that filed sexual harassment complaints and is now suing him and the school board. The county can’t go off of anonymous complaints as those could be made up from anyone. They can be investigated but with no real facts it can’t be determined if it’s true or not. What will be interesting to see is if the complaint from the social studies teacher follows through seeing as though she sent him nude pics and continued to attend every social event after school hours.

Because there aren't many other facts, this alone makes it hard to take this seriously. I'm sorry. I read all these people up in arms here, but it all comes down to this, which seems dubious at best.

Need something? Beidleman put a child in an illegal restraint. That is a fact. On that alone he should have been fired.

From what I’ve read the child was threatening a staff member’s life. The child was throwing telephones at staff members and threatening bodily harm. Maybe the way the restraint was done wasn’t proper according to mcps but would you rather the child seriously injure a staff member? Would you rather take a chance and let the child injure your child as well as we have seen recently in the news of kids and staff members lives being lost because maybe staff were too scared to restrain a kid in fear of getting in trouble.

No one wants their kids to get in trouble. They would rather their kid be disruptive and cause bodily harm or take a life. Only then will the parent cry once their child is behind bars for the rest of their life.

This is awful reporting - lots of incorrect information. Starting with her title which is Chief of District Operations.

She is not one of the 5. She's not in the Jackson Lewis report at all. HR had the no high season leave long before she came to HR.

Sorry mocoshow wannabe, this is a flop.

Thanks for the correction. I guess that is what we get for using MoCo360 article as a source instead of verifying with MCPS website. Lesson learned and will correct.

You know the identities of everyone in the report? That would be useful information which I'm sure you won't share.

Regardless of the truth in their rumored affair, they sure had the same toxic leadership traits! Reading about Edward’s denying earned leave and telling her department not to take leave from March-September read just like Beidleman telling his staff to not schedule any appointments during his monthly staff meetings or making teachers give much more info than required to get any leave approved during the school day.

Remember that the people that worked under these toxic leaders are still employed in MCPS. They aren’t able to just flip a switch and return to normal interactions they might have had pre-Beidleman, Edwards, McKnight, etc. so while we are all concerned about CO employees, who is helping school based staff deal with their trauma responses?

Don’t forget Dempsey in that list!

Facts never really mattered here. There weren't a lot of them to begin with. It was always a witchhunt.

The MoCo360 article was correct about Edwards's title at the time of her promotion to chief. Since then, there has been another reorg of the chief positions and her title was changed.
