Regardless of the truth in their rumored affair, they sure had the same toxic leadership traits! Reading about Edward’s denying earned leave and telling her department not to take leave from March-September read just like Beidleman telling his staff to not schedule any appointments during his monthly staff meetings or making teachers give much more info than required to get any leave approved during the school day.

Remember that the people that worked under these toxic leaders are still employed in MCPS. They aren’t able to just flip a switch and return to normal interactions they might have had pre-Beidleman, Edwards, McKnight, etc. so while we are all concerned about CO employees, who is helping school based staff deal with their trauma responses?[/quote]
