For a sampling of concession speeches from both Democratic and Republican contenders, see Frank Bruni's op-ed in the Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/17/opinion/for-donald-trump-lessons-in-grace.html.
Having lost the nomination in '08 and watched Trump's odds-busting win of the GOP nomination, she is probably preparing for all possibilities.

Sadly, this. I have found that once you accept all politicians are corrupt, it bothers you less.

You know, I like to think that it is not the politicians who are corrupt, but the system that is broken.

The outrage is not that Trump took a $900 million loss, but that it was legal.

The outrage is not that Hillary's associates made money off their connections to her, but that it was legal.

The outrage is not that there is a revolving door between lobbyists and Congress, but that it is legal.

We know what needs to happen to fix this.

Public financing of campaigns
Laws prohibiting solicitation of contributions while in office
Laws prohibiting the revolving door between lobbyists and congress
reversal of Citizens United

Why can't we all get behind what needs to be done?

+1!
Each poll bases its pool of respondents on assumptions about the makeup of the eventual vote. I guess they have different assumptions. Or perhaps, since the confidence interval is generally at the 95% level, perhaps one of these polls is in the 5% that miss the mark.
Wait til he volunteers to pull down his pants to show he has the balls to be president and demands that she do the same.
One aspect of Trump that scares me is his belief in his 'very good brain'. It leads him to trust his own common sense rather than the words of experts, or even than the Constitution (on issues like torture, for example).
I look at Hillary and think of other manipulative, power-hungry presidents we've had (Johnson & Nixon, for example). I look at Trump and think of other authoritarian demagogues (like Mussolini, say). I'll take Hillary!

Lifelong Dem. Big Obama supporter. Never liked HRC and voted against her in 08.

Can't stand the Donald. Hate his style, character, lack of self-control etc.

But I am 100 percent with him on illegal immigration. I have almost become a single issue voter.

No one IRL knows I feel this way.

Not sure I could actually vote for him when it comes down to it, but if I did, I would be voting for this one issue. I feel like voting for HRC is a vote for a borderless America.

"My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, sometime in the future with energy that's as green and sustainable as we can get it, powering growth and opportunity for every person in the hemisphere," Clinton reportedly said to investors in a paid speech she gave to Brazilian Banco Itau in 2013.

That's who she really is.

Yep, she's someone with dreams, who is realistic enough to realize that they won't happen tomorrow.

Speak for yourself.

S/he speaks for me also. There was no implication that everyone agrees with us, although I suspect that there are millions who do.

Shame on all you people who will vote for third party and leave a possibility of President Donald J. Trump.
In your opinion.

It's rather standard practice here that people state their opinions, no? For the record, it's my opinion also that Trump is a demagogue who appears to think he is a demigod who can solve all problems because he has such an amazing brain. What is not my opinion is the fact that his speeches are filled with lies and nonsense that put Hillary's much touted untrustworthiness to shame.

And refrains from attacking Trump's sex life, which is the least relevant of his flaws as a presidential candidate!

Bravo... that is what I was think. I just want to add one more thing. She should also say that Trump knowingly invited them to hurt her personally and that is what he does even if his opponent might be right and the Presidential debate is far from personal feud. She should point out how Trump attacked the disabled leader, Mr. Khan, Rosie O'donell etc. when their differences were not personal.

Then she shouldn't have offered Cuban a front row seat.

She started this battle. If Trump fights back, it's a popcorn show for sure!

But you still want her to lie about how she still loves him and takes her vow seriously? lol

I won't defend her invitation to Cuban, although it would not totally surprise me if her campaign gamed it the way it played out, and figure Flowers being there would bring out public sympathy (especially among women) for a candidate who can use it. However, I think a more apt comeback from Trump would be having people like Giuliani front and center.

Anonymous wrote:Shit, soon you'll be able to PRINT guns.

Your effort is futile. Concentrate on important things... and I don't mean climate change or the other stupid things you donkeys are stuck on.

You can print money, but we still have laws against counterfeiting.

If you think that climate change is no threat and that we should not even try to stop people on the Terrorist Watch List from buying guns, we may live in the same country, but our heads are in different worlds.
And Trump too. Wouldn't it be nice to end up with a president that half of us disagree with rather than hate?

And also, Clinton and Trump are the candidates we deserve. We have vilified politicians to the point that at best only slightly deranged people enter public service. Our civil institutions are slowly dying. People are less and less involved in their communities. Until we snap out of it, this is how things are going to be.
Well said, pp.
And, it will be a cold day in hell before Clinton and Trump agree on anything.
IDK, they were pretty cozy with each other in the past.

I confess that I don't think there is any hope of it. but it seems like it would be such a blessing for the country that I figured I'd toss out the idea and hope it would float around the internet and gather support.
