Each one of them a victim of their mothers sense of fashion
family lives on tin food
each one has a fake smile
girls dream of girly motherhood type careers, boys manly professions

you gotto be crazy to admire people like that

I try to be open-minded, but yeah....weird! Do they have any neighbors or friends?
If you can take it, take the time off. I got a month before delivery to take off (thank god I worked for a British company generous with maternity benefits). You will need the rest for sure! Second time around I was not so lucky and used up all my maternity leave in the NICU.
I had no idea it was a show...the article I read said all their kids' names began with letter "J." Is that the same one? I hardly watch TV so am out of the loop.
My best friend had a very rare, inoperable brain tumor. SHe couldn't have it surgically removed, but she did have that gamma knife laser thing along with other types of radiation. She did say she always felt better after acupuncture.
I couldn't even imagine having 6, let alone 14....but if she is able to care for all of them and wanted a huge family, then I'm not one to judge her for having so many.

I read about a family who has 19 a few years ago and they seemed like a happy, closely-knit family. They lived like it was 100 years ago way out in the country, but if they are happy like that, then I'm happy for them.
Don't like turtlenecks, only if its 20 degrees outside.

Don't like layers...I feel stuffed.

Don't like my baggy jeans that make me look 10 pounds heavier than I am!

Don't like big heavy winter coats...so ready for spring!

Don't like skirts because I can never find one I like without frills, pleats or weird seaming. If I can find a long, plain fitted one that doesn't wrinkle when you sit down, then I'll like it.

I second 11:05 - I want to go somewhere warm so I can dress beachy all the time. : )

My sister battled mold allergies all her life growing up in this area. It wasn't until she moved away to the southwest that her symptoms completely stopped. I'm not saying that's the solution for you, but apparently the Mid-Atlantic has a high mold count.
I tried to do the early morning thing...not happening! I need my sleep. I work out on my lunch hour. I have the most energy then, and it revs me up for the rest of the day. I am even thinking of giving up my night classes and making them all lunch time.

However, before I became an instructor and my kids were very young, I just did video workouts at home everynight. That helped me shed my first 20 pounds.
Personally, I am flattered if they want to eat more! In my culture, it is custom to stuff your guests' bellies until they can eat no more. But I also understand if you are on a budget and have several playdates a week...that can get expensive.
schools are closed. DH already slid the car into a curb yesterday. And then I would have to ice-skate to the metro. yeah....I will be a wuss!
I think I will be a wuss and take a snow day.
I guess I will shop, I just wasn't sure if it would cost less to alter. But it looks like it would cost the same for an old pair of jeans. ~zm
About $400-$500. Last week I bought everything generic and I saved maybe $20. But someone told me about this Angel Food Ministry where you can order a bunch of food for super, super cheap and then you go pick it up. I am ordering $130 worth of food and it should last us all month. Maybe then I can go buy some jeans.
yeah, I'm an artist/dancer...I don't have boo koo bucks to shop! I just spent $200 on after school activities for DS....I wish I knew how to sew! Maybe I should go raid my mom's attic and see if she has any of my highschool clothes...haha!
then there is everything else...shirts, bras, etc. I guess I should wait for spring sales.
