Suck it up, buttercup.

I DONT WANT TO PAY for wars either my friends. I am STAUNCHLY Anti-War. Not all conservatives are the same. I'm a real conservative. I hate Bush, Limbaugh, Hanity, and all NeoCon trash. I'm a socially conservative, Anti-war, Protectionist. God bless Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul!

You missed my point. The only way we get to choose which things our tax money (or rather, my tax money, since I don't think you've actually paid any taxes yet) is by voting. There's no line item veto on the Form 1040.

And I'm sure if you were old enough to be paying attention in 2000, you would have liked Bush just fine.

You are wrong about Bush. I'm a Paleoconservative. I would've voted for Pat Buchanan in 2000.

Do you support funding for Israel?

Certainly NOT! Israel needs to take care of itself. They are NOT our responsibility. I support TOTAL elimination of ALL foreign aid.

Not sure how "don't marry a gay person if you aren't gay" is analogous to "don't pay taxes" but ... Whatever you say. I'm sure our country would be super amazing if no one went to school.

There are thankfully many countries in this world. If Hillary wins, I'm moving to Russia, Hungary, or Northern Ireland.

1. Welfare ( food stamps, Section 8 Housing, etc)

Public schools and universities.
I DONT WANT to pay for these. Here's what I'll say. If you want public education and welfare, personally donate your money to the government, so they can specifically use it on this. You have NO RIGHT to use my money for these things.

Living in a civil society, we have decided to provide welfare to citizens who need it. We do it partly out of charity and partly because we would feel bad to have people starve and die in the streets. We would no longer feel prosperous as a nation if that happened. We have public education as a foundation of our democratic form of governance, which you know because you've learned this in school.

Well, I'll help the poor on my own, and wth MY own money. The government has no right to TAKE my money and use it for that purpose. If you want to help them, help them yourself. I attend private school. Public schools are a joke.

This is a serious question. You guys know me as the extremely preppy Paleoconservative. I've got a bunch of small LACs on my list. However, I've decided that I need to expand my criteria and add some larger schools to my list. I'm looking for schools that are similar to UVA, but not as hard to get into. I want a larger school with strong academics, a good Greek system, good placment on Wall Street, and in top law schools, and a moderate faculty/student body.( I want a student body and faculty that is open to all points of view. NO speach codes. I want a place where I won't be ostracized for being a staunch Paleoconservative.) my GPA is 3.2, and I have a 28 ACT.

Very strong Alumni network in the south. My son just graduated and Was accepted to a number of top notch grad programs including Duke, UVA, and Notre Dame. The all male aspect may give some students pause-- but don't worry there are plenty of girls at H-SC on the weekends. He absolutely loved the place.

I visited and loved it. Is HSC still as preppy/conservative as it used to be?

AKA don't be different--brown, black, gay, etc.

There are plenty of schools for people like that. Not every school has to be a diversity mill.
I'm considering doing a postgrad year at Avon or Salisbury.( maybe even Exeter) How hard is it to get into these postgrad programs?

Alabama and the Ten Commandments. Yeah, he'd be perfect.

What's wrong with Alabama and the 10 Commandments? The people will ultimately decide. Everything depends on the election. If Trump or Cruz are elected President, I think Moore has a good shot.

No it didn't. This case will not be resolved until the next President is. elected. Mitch McConnell has made it clear that Obama will not be able to appoint Scalias replacement. The next Presudent will either be Donald Trump or Ted Cruz. Affirmative Action will die!

You claim to support death or exile for anyone that is not a conservative Protestant, banning liberalism and you are against free speech.

You need to get your sh!t together.

You need to get your shit together. Go back to your safe space.
Knowing what you guys know about me (preppy, WASPy, Pat Buchanan conservative) would Sewanee fit me? Someone just recommended it to me, and it seems like a good school. I've heard that there are a good number of preppy conservatives, and the faculty is quite moderate. Is this true? Would I be comfortable at Sewanee? I am absolutely fine with a moderate student body, as long as there are a good number of preppy conservative students, and the faculty isn't ultra-Liberal.
