Obama should look to the Judicial Conference of the United States, the policy making arm of the Federal Judiciary. Pick people the Chief Justice has blessed, by picking them for key leadership slots.

Bill Traxler, the current Chair of the Executive Committee, would be fabulous. A Bush 41 appointee to the District bench out of South Carolina, Strom Thurmond strong armed Clinton (during impeachment) into elevating Traxler to the 4th Circuit bench. So it would "close the circle" for this Senate to force Obama to his knees, elevating an anti-criminal budget hawk as the best he can do.

Julie Robinson of Kansas, a Bush 43 appointee, would be a terrific choice also. She is a black female federal judge so it would be hard for the liberals to complain. But she has been a great help in passing sensible anti-abortion policies (while hammering ACLU!!!), as well as nailing the Brady campaign on procedural grounds.

If Obama decides to nominate some "Guest of our country" like Goodwind Liu, he'll fail. But if he bargains with Mitch, he can still get a marginal improvement over Scalia, and over a President Cruz nominee.

Obama needs to take what he can get!

"Guest of our country"? Cut back on the OxyContin and Meth cocktails.

Hammering the ACLU is no longer a good thing. And if he wanted to pick someone McConnell would approve, it would be Sri Srinivasan. Because he was confirmed last time 97-0.

Predictions that Obama would come to Congress with his hat in hand have always turned out badly. This one isn't going to be any different. The R's will hand Hillary her dream issue on election day.

It going to a lot of fun watching "citizens" like you tie themselves up in knots, foaming at the mouth over President Obama's nominee.

Clown post, bro.

Truth hurts, bruh.

Fact is, the Republicans have stacked every major Committee Assignment with wackjobs like Phil Robertson. I mean, just look at Jim Inhofe, chairing the Energy and Environment Committee... Wat Da Fuq. No, he doesn't have the beard, but without a doubt, he's even more of a wackjob than the Robertsons. And there are plenty more examples I could throw at ya.

Obama will not appoint Scalias replacement. I can assure you 100% that the Republican Senate will not let it happen. The replacement will depend on who wins POTUS. I vote for Roy Moore. He would make a fine justice.

Alabama and the Ten Commandments. Yeah, he'd be perfect.

What's wrong with Alabama and the 10 Commandments? The people will ultimately decide. Everything depends on the election. If Trump or Cruz are elected President, I think Moore has a good shot.

100%? It's February, a bit early to call an end to the presidency. A poor precedent for the next one, isn't it?

None zero nada. That's the chance of Moore being appointed to the Supreme Court. Its not remotely a serious possibility no matter whi is president.

Um, the people have already decided. They elected Obama twice. That gives him the right to make this appointment.
