I did stop by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel coffee bar in May. They have excellent coffee/espresso. I agree.

Lately, I get latte from Nordtrom espresso bar. Not bad.

I live very close to Potomac Village (River Road and Persimmon Tree Road).
I used to live in McLean right after I moved from California.
Just in general, it's hard to find any coffee shop in both areas.

When I lived in San Francisco Bay Area, there were so many places to get a good latte.
However, now I live in Potomac, there's only one Starbucks near my house and there's always a long long line.
If you know any good place to get a latte besides Starbucks in Potomac Village, please let me know. Thanks!

She found the hotel from Expedia. She chose that hotel for price and metro location.

My 5 year old daughter loves ballet and she has been accepted to register for a pre-ballet class ( once a week for 45 min.) at Washington School of Ballet.
However, I'm a little worried about traffic from Potomac to the ballet school (NW D.C.) and her school schedule, from 9:15am-3:30pm.
