In the original agreement, five Saturdays exclusive use in the fall. And two full weeks exclusive use in August. What does the new one say?

Maret doesn't 'sublet' anything--DPR provides permits for hours. Perhaps someone else supplied permit requests before Stoddert did, which would make your Saturday game at a different time?

No one is implying subletting, but I’m sure they have access for practices on the weekends.

Please. You don’t need to know the exact terms of the contract to know it stinks. Especially since the most important term Maret claims — that the first contract had a ten year option to extend — isn’t actually *in* the contract.

Since the perpetual “wrong again” and “lies and innuendo” person posting is most likely a crisis PR firm paid for my Maret or the head of school herself I wouldn’t hold my breath on getting the contract.

Is Maret still operating under the initial agreement? If so, they do have use of the field on some Saturdays in the fall.

I was at Jelleff on Friday from 4:00 until 5:30 and Maret didn’t use it at all. Problem is no one can use it (Jelleff aftercare kids, Hardy, etc). Would it be so freaking difficult for Maret to call Jelleff on days they aren’t using the field so that kids stuck in the basement at Jelleff can, I don’t know, run around outside on one of the most beautiful days of the year?!

Seems they could take the kids out there if maret not there by 4. Maret gets out at 3:10 most days. That said, the fact that the people running the aftercare program have not figure out how to walk the kids 7 minutes to meridian park makes them just lazy and uninterested in solving the problem for the last ten years. 10 years they have had to develop a solution. Same is true for Hardy field. They should make their own field bigger. It is possible. That’s not to say maret should have jelleff but come on. These were issues long before the time for consideration of contract renewal with maret.
