Could the two week Potomac spring break have anything to do with it?

Difference is Saints are deep in the older year groups; especially juniors. Every other team has at least a few (very good) freshmen in their starting line up and the Saints freshmen are all on JV. 17-18 year olds who have played together for years will win these matchups. Saints just stronger and faster and can bring Div 1 commits off the bench to fill in for starters who are out sick. And it looked like they just wanted it more.

This sounds right. Depth from recruiting is the name of the game.

100% agree, Saints looked faster and stronger and certainly had more depth.

The game was closer than the final score showed.

Don’t think game was closer than score showed. Saints had game the whole time. Potomac made them nervous at times but they were always able to stay ahead. Don’t think this means much for Potomac as they could still make an impressive playoff run but Saints looked good yesterday.

Ouch!! Potomac has to play Milton next, that is a solid team with a long history of competing with DMV teams. Should be a good indication of how Potomac responds. Still has a gauntlet of NDP, Good Counsel, Stone Ridge and Visi. This year can quickly go south on them. Lets hope they rebound quickly

Very appreciative of the analysis of the game from the SSSAS dads. Haven't heard from Potomac PP's, yet. Curious to hear what they thought of the game.

The Saints still own Potomac.

I don't think you know what that means or how or when to use it.

If the saints are so good then why did Kathy hide behind a light schedule?
