We were down in NC recently and we parked next to a Pipeline family. We all got out of the cars, chatted, and the Pipeline family wished us the best of luck and we did the same as we were all repping the DMV. That's the way it should be. Just stating the truth. Players and parents from local clubs are not cheering for other local clubs. You know why? Because of the insufferable bragging and recruiting that ensues. If parents and players were more humble I would cheer for them….but they’re not. It’s insufferable.

I have kids at another club. I probably won't watch it. I do however believe in the thought that a rising tide raises all boats. They are representing the entire DMV. I wish them the best and am cheering them on. Anytime a local team plays on a national stage we should all support the local talent.

Speak for yourself, my child has many friends who play for other clubs. I would most definitely root for the other local teams and clubs in national playoff games (regardless of how I feel about the parents). You seem to have an axe to grind.

FCV U17 winning the GAL title will not benefit anyone else. Just like when McLean won a ECNL national title and VSA won a USYS national title.

However, It’s great for recruiting players from other clubs
