How about just being happy for the kids who worked really hard and made sacrifices to be part of a winning team. Most people know at least one family on the local teams. Just be happy for them. If my kid decides down the road to try out for FCV, that is our decision and we will weigh the pros and cons. In the meantime, I am happy for FCV U17 team. I was also happy for the Loudoun team that won its showcase. It was not the top showcase, but so what. |
| There is always the jealous poster with negative comments. |
Jealous of what? |
A local team other than your child's playing for a national championship. |
Doesn’t effect me one bit. How would it? Does it effect you? Make it make sense. |
Doesn't affect me either. Just seems like you're getting awfully bent out of shape for no real reason. Only explanation must be that you're jealous. |
Again, jealous of what and whom? The reason I’m posting is because an FCV parent came on DCUM and started a thread titled, “It’s coming home”. It’s clearly “fishing for likes.” Again, Just be humble and more people would support. One thing the poster should have learned is “it’s coming home” is a jinx. |
Jealous that your child is not on a team that is good enough to compete for a national championship. |
And there is the arrogance. |
| Watched a lot of GA games since they streamed them on Youtube. Overall, really was not impressed at all of the level of play. It was pretty low to be honest and not really that impressive. |
| Literally nobody cares outside of the players families and the club. |
| Didn’t they just have nationals in California ?. |
I doubt it was a FCV parent that started this thread with that subject. More likely it was jealous dad starting up trouble |
Nobody is jealous. |
Yeah. That seems more plausible. NOT |
