Jealous of what?

A local team other than your child's playing for a national championship.

Doesn’t effect me one bit. How would it? Does it effect you? Make it make sense.

Doesn't affect me either. Just seems like you're getting awfully bent out of shape for no real reason. Only explanation must be that you're jealous.

Again, jealous of what and whom? The reason I’m posting is because an FCV parent came on DCUM and started a thread titled, “It’s coming home”. It’s clearly “fishing for likes.” Again, Just be humble and more people would support.

One thing the poster should have learned is “it’s coming home” is a jinx.

I doubt it was a FCV parent that started this thread with that subject. More likely it was jealous dad starting up trouble

Yeah. That seems more plausible. NOT

says the one who started this thread.

Oh must be coaches from FCV positing to bragging and trying to get more suckers to join their walk club. These girls have been jumping from one local league to the next.

Fishing to get more parents to join FCV. The director ans coach will let anyone join their team but they won’t even have their own kid play foe the league.

I wish them the best and am cheering them on. Anytime a local team plays on a national stage we should all support the local talent.

FCV U17 winning the GAL title will not benefit anyone else. Just like when McLean won a ECNL national title and VSA won a USYS national title.

However, It’s great for recruiting players from other clubs

Or maybe just cheering on some local kids that have worked hard to get to the finals…it is important to them and that is what this is all about…

Or…..How about you cheer them on without posting on social media or just live in the moment without telling everyone else.

Game winning goal in OT was a terrible GK error. Simple ball played into the box but keeper had stone hands.

So the haters can hate on social media but I can’t give a shout out.. ok that makes sense. I was responding to those who are making the negate comments. If it doesn’t concern you then don’t comment.

The dads celebrating like Uncle Rico threw a 20 yard TD pass to win the homecoming game.

What negative comment?

. I can cheer this local team on any way I want…I have no ties to this team but good for them. Here is the negative comment that I responded to.

Sounds more like an observation…and you’re right…you can cheer however you want. No one has an issue with that

Hey Loudoun dad… ITS COMING HOME!!!

Loudoun dad, relax a little. Life’s too short to get worked up over youth soccer.

Tell you what, if your kid ever get the opportunity to play for a national championship, we’ll all be right here cheering her on!

Hat's off to GA for streaming all of the playoffs. This is a nice perk that ECNL has dropped the ball on.

THese two things can be true at the same time:
— Good for them! That’s fantastic.
— They’re not going to be as dominant locally as they once were.
