Yes. He’s calling Hamas’s actions a liberation struggle.

Wow they have lost their minds

I'm glad to see this out in the open. Can't fight and beat what you don't know is there.

Israel is lost . Most Gen Z in the West have Muslim friends who were born and grew up here since their parents had to you know emigrate.

How stupid can one country be to not realize the tides were always shifting to Palestinian sympathy even during the last Gaza war in 2014? Remember the flotilla and divest from Israel campaigns ?

They should’ve seen the left’s pro Palestinian slant burgeoning years and years ago

Man, you are profoundly out of touch.

I’m not profoundly out of touch. I’m profoundly anxious.

This situation is getting scarier and scarier by the minute and is a powder keg.

Putin would love nothing more than to see the West divide over Israel vs Palestine and that’s what is likely to happen since both our president and Israel’s keep making dumb decisions that are helping Putin and Hamas

Your anxiety is telling you if Israel is destroyed, the terrorism stops. Unfortunately for all who believe this, you will get a huge dose of reality

What? I am pro-Israel surviving.

Israeli and Zionist arrogance and tunnel vision has not helped Israel. Pay attention to the room. It’s changed . You can keep saying most America is overwhelmingly pro Israel but from my vantage point that’s not true.

Americans are notoriously wishy washy and go with the wind and Israel being popular among Americans is only true among boomers and those over 35.

Academia is very left wing now. All across the country, there were pro Palestinian rallies this week even in Texas and harassment of Jewish students. I know some that have withdrawn

Pay attention . This is a very dangerous situation

I'm the PP and I agree with you. What I'm saying is that those who are against Israel are doing it out of a deep down fear, i.e. I understand the terrorists so they won't hurt me. What I'm saying is that Israel and Jews aren't their larger goal.

Israel did decolonize about 20 years ago. I mean, for someone to still be saying what this person did—the hatred of Jews must be unbelievably deep seated.

Israel won’t let them out through their border and neither will Egypt. Their relatives were expecting Biden to negotiate with Israel safe passage but apparently when he didn’t mention anything re it as he boarded Air Force One or in any press release.

This is a profound disappointment. This is the behavior I would expect from President Trump. How can he look Palestinian-Americans in the face between this and that poor murdered child and claim he deserves their votes??

Isn't it sad your expectations aren't reality?

This is what happens when you let terrorists walk across your border and you respond by targeting refugees convoys and hospitals. Wait till the ground war starts. That will break Egypt neutral support for Israel. You think this is not going to be a sh#t show all through the ME. There will be a total realignment, minimum a few assassinations of heads of state(Saudi and Egypt) and it will not favor Israel.

Now let’s talk about those leftist democrats, BLM and students who support Palestinians. Oh they are so evil and the cause of all these problems for Israel! If only we can silence those people everything will be fine.

Tunisia is a mess. Has been for a long while. I am sorry for the loss of the Torah, but these days of rage are mostly ridiculous spectacle.

The way American Jews feel about Israelis being slaughtered by Hamas is exactly how Muslims around the world feel about Palestinians being slaughtered by Israel.
You don’t understand their pain? It’s the same pain a Jewish person is feeling right now

Israel launched a surprise attack to butcher festival goers?

No, but they killed 200+ people from January-September 2023 in the West Bank and all of those killings were by surprise because the West Bank was not at war with Israel

Israel responds to terrorism. They don't sneak in with the goal of slaughtering as many people as possible for no reason other than the fact that people are a certain religion or race. They don't go house to house executing babies and children and grandmothers. They don't go house to house raping people. They don't go to festivals and gun as many people down as they can. They respond to terrorism. Jews will not go like lambs to the slaughter.. We did that once. We will never do it again. We are not victims. We have power now. And we will live and not be slaughter by a bunch of antiJewish haters.

Israel was founded on the basis of terrorism. White washing the history of the Irgun, etc, will never change that.

I agree that academia is very left wing. But, I also think that the pro-Palestinian groups are more vocal, but not the majority.
I do blame our education system for the pitiful schooling our youth has received WRT Israel and the Middle East.
When we have our youth actually supporting terrorists with their rhetoric, our education system has failed.

Did they stop killing 20 years ago too ?
Let’s forget Gaza for a second.

How many Palestinians died in the peaceful /defeated West Bank from 2005 to now ?

How many Israelis?

Initial evidence from the explosion at Gaza's Al-Ahli al-Arabi hospital yesterday appeared to be "inconsistent with an airstrike" and "far more consistent with a small projectile failing", says Nathan Ruser, an expert from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.

But he says there are "a lot of difficulties" in fully attributing the cause of the blast without seeing details and remains of the munition used.

Speaking to BBC Radio 4 earlier today, he said the small crater at the scene of the explosion was inconsistent with an airstrike, as was the extent and type of damage to nearby cars - and he said the "typical puff of concrete dust" often seen after airstrikes on Gaza was "absent".

Ruser said most of the damage at the scene appeared to have been caused by fire, which he said would be consistent "with a rocket that had a lot of fuel and propellant in it".

Ruser added that's it's "incredibly tricky" to get reliable information out of Gaza, and the amount of disinformation around the conflict is "almost staggering".

He said both sides "have a track record of not necessarily providing the honest truth" and although information from journalists on the ground has helped add to the picture, "I don't think we'll ever know exactly what happened

You go with that....

Hopefully, they just laid low and condemned Hamas' actions in their hearts or even better, out loud voices.

You think they lose their first amendment rights when they disagree with you?

If they participated they should be extradited to Israel for trial and punishments. But I feel confident the two month old infant was not participating.

This. I think there is a trove of photo and video documentation on many who participated. Big "no no"

You know what though? Even if you’re right— which I doubt— I bet it’s not the babies or the eight week postpartum mother.

My military spouse was also annoyed by 'the other team' comment. I am not a huge Biden fan, but this is how he talks. He's "just folks" , like Bill Clinton. Is it a bit of the Irish blarney? I'm not going to jump all over it. Also, I'm super proud of him for showing up.

It's almost like he is treating this as some big game.
If they "learn how to shoot straight," they kill more Jews. A pretty stupid comment.
I noticed Blinken was hiding in the closet. I don't blame him.

He wasn't even thinking about that - he's not that deep. It was a quip.

You're likely right. But women can be just as savage as men. Look at the woman who supported Isis, and dragged their poor kids through hell.

I mean, it’s ambiguous, no? Is he mocking terrorists’ tragic incompetence? Or is she suggesting they improve their aim. Very odd and confusing.

The first. I'm not a Biden person, but definitely the first.

Meanwhile what was Trump doing? *checks notes* Trump was calling Hezbollah "smart."

If I had to choose--and I will--Biden is a million times better.

They are smart, sadly. Would have been much worst if he called them good people, right? But he doesn't.
