They feel so badly that they won't help save the civilians still there. Give me a break |
I disagree. I don’t think it’s fear of Hamas driving people to protest . I think it’s global sympathy. Americans love a bandwagon and hashtag activism so for some it’s probably just as simple as that. Some are anti Semites. Some are Jewish lefties with Palestine guilt, or fear of retribution , or just general hatred of right wing Israel. I don’t think we can fit all these people in one neat box as we see today-many of the protesters who stormed the Capitol were Jewish |
Sure. And look at the absolute heroics of the women who defended their homes and communities in Israel this weekend. But it genuinely doesn’t matter. I’m a U.S. taxpayer. I want to see the U.S. citizens— especially the U.S. children— made safe as this governments highest priority (as it claims). Not arming the Israelis. Not even negotiating getting more aid into Gaza. I want to see us keep our obligations to our citizens and, I can’t repeat this enough, especially American children. We already failed the one in Chicago. And then, as I said, if there’s criminal charges to be made they can be extradited and tried and receive due process. Which isn’t this. |

Save them how? Egypt tried and IDF bombed the Rafah crossing. America says sorry peeps, we can’t save tax paying American citizens in Gaza but we can send a ship and planes to Israel to ship American citizens out ASAP. Do you think Tunisia wants to war with Israel so they can bomb Tunisian hospitals and children too? |
To an institution that educates and turns out well-rounded, thoughtful adults. |
Arab nations aren't clamoring to take them in. Two (at least) said nope. |
America is just as much in fear of Israel as the Middle East countries are.
Nothing else could explain the double standards in treatment |
People have been waiting at the Rafa border for days. Egypt could open it if they wanted to. |
Because they are afraid of retribution by the bully terror state |
Lol. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. The US wants israel to do the dirty work of keeping the peace in the region without a western country needing to constantly be at war or occupy some country in the region to prevent rampant anti western terrorism. |
If they do, Israel would bomb the crossing again then go a bit further and accidentally bomb a nearby target in Egypt saying it was to bomb Hamas bunkers. The Egyptians know this. Who knows? If this shitshow keeps continuing , I see worse escalation to continue and with the American presidents comments, he just endangered all our ambassadors in the Middle East with one single comment. Poor Anthony Blinken looked mortified |
Exactly. And an institution that teaches critical thinking, which universities fail to do at present. Universities in the US exist solely to indoctrinate students in 2023. |
Lol. Thanks to Netanyahu, Israel is hardly a democracy anymore. |
The democratic part of the world united to eradicate ISIS and this is something we have to do with Hamas. |
Israel is a democracy in name only . Netanyahu has been PM for years and years and years now. Longer than Putin or Erdogan have been in office. Israel does no dirty work for us and they certainly don’t keep the peace. We do the dirty work for them. |
