Age 33 after birth of first kid. 46 now and there is a glimmer of it at times but I could go without and be happy. My DH has the patience of a saint and about as much sex as one 😃

39, my body never recovered from kids and work and stress. I am willing to try whenever he wants to, not often. We’re tired.

Early 40s. I had three young children so problems fatigue and stress played a toll but my libido continued to wane as menopause approached and now seems to have disappeared completely in my mid 50s

Early 50s with menopause plus going on an SSRI for depression.

SSRIs will generally kill libido and destroy your sex life; warn your spouse / partner before going on SSRIs.

Doctors do a terrible job of educating patients of this nearly universal side effect of SSRIs.

I wasn’t very sexual right after my kids were born, but when my oldest was about 9 and I was 38, I had a sexual reawakening. It’s been awesome!

It doesn’t happen to everyone. Been on one for decades... still have a strong drive (I’m a woman).

But in fairness to doctors, they have to treat the more serious problem...
