The big reveal/surprise/deal is that Jon Snow is not Ned's bastard but the child, likely legitimate, of Ned's sister Lyanna and Prince Rhaegar. That is a HUGE deal as Jon is the real heir to the Iron Throne.

But as in reality, in Westeros, people don't just say, "Oh he's our legitimate king, let's hand him everything." If that were the case, Robert would never have become King. Cersei wouldn't be sitting on the Iron Throne. Sansa would be the person all those lords were swearing loyalty to. You have to fight for control and take it because you want it, not just because you have a legitimate claim. And you have to have support. There is no clear and easy win. It's not enough that some people believe/know that Jon is a Targaryan. It's the game of thrones, afterall. There are always more players, and they don't just back down.

Prediction--Dany sweeps up from the south with her Dragons and Dothraki and Unsullied. They will have to take Kings Landing and burn Cersei--but Cersei and Jamie are a package deal. And I love Jamie now--please don't kill him!

I agree, Dany will take the South. I'm not sure what her interaction with the Starks will be like, but Theon and Tyrion will certainly influence her in their favor, I hope. Not sure how R+L=J will get revealed to the greater population, if ever.

As for Jaime, I'm wondering if Cersei has gone too far this time.

Dani - lots of talk of her pending marriage.... And smooth move on the hand of the queen announcement. Being backed by a lannister will give her some street cred.

Sansa - that whole king of the north scene made me think there's going to be a betrayal between her and Rob. No bets on who will be left standing, but LF probably has John's death already planned out.

My take w Sansa and Jon was different. I took from the scene with her and Jon, then her and Littlefinger, that Sansa has decided to throw in with Jon. Then when she's looking at Littlefinger when the northern lords are swearing fealty to Jon, Sansa is realizing that now Littlefinger will go after Jon, because Jon stands in the way of what Littlefinger says is his endgame.

+1. I thought the same thing. She looked concerned as she realized LF is not happy things didn't go his way (i.e. All the houses standing behind a bastard) and will go after Jon now to get his way.
