I'm like you. I was a liberal in college and the early years afterward, and I still remain pro-choice. But seeing how enraged liberals get when you deviate even slightly from the "approved" liberal position has made it very hard for me to vote for such nasty people ever again. Don't they realize that by calling people who disagree with their hard-left policies "deplorable" and "amoral scum" they are driving moderate voters, ones who could potentially go either way, further away from the Democratic Party?

FYI, I was talking to the good doctor, letting her know that I am with her - that the liberal M.O. of putting people down (as you just did) pushes independents and moderates away (as do the crazy radical leftist policies). And also FYI, I have heard the same sentiment from others. None of us really knew how hateful and intolerant liberals were until they revealed their nasty underside through social media.

Just consider that the right wing is even nastier. McConnell at this point even openly admits he has no actual legislative agenda other than to bomb the Democrats and undo every single advance this country has made, and thinks it's funny to refer to himself as "Darth Vader"
