Now seeing how the system is, how broken it is, and quite honestly how nasty some liberals can be if you do not think exactly like them (as evidenced by responses to my post), I have moved away from that mindset. Wouldn’t say I am totally to the right (I am 100% pro choice, for example), but I couldn’t align myself with that party anymore.

But seeing how enraged liberals get when you deviate even slightly from the "approved" liberal position has made it very hard for me to vote for such nasty people ever again. Don't they realize that by calling people who disagree with their hard-left policies "deplorable" and "amoral scum" they are driving moderate voters, ones who could potentially go either way, further away from the Democratic Party?
