More disturbing is the comment at the bottom of the article.

What was the comment? I'm guessing it got deleted cause all I see are comments that appear to be responding to a comment that was probably defending this guy.

Why is this not surprise that it happened at Bullis? Great lessons to teach your kids. Lie, cheat and beat women. Anything to get ahead.

Just send your kids to Churchill or Whitman aleady. You'd save a ton of money and get a way better education without being exposed to this institutionalized abhorrent behavior.

How about if the charges are dropped?

Or he is acquitted?

In this little, IAC world, HOW things are done does matter.

Based on decades of history, Bullis has never been seen as being quite up to snuff with the IAC schools on this side of the Potomac. The people that have sent their kids to Landon, STA, Prep and Sidwell (when it was an IAC member) never considered Bullis as an alternative.

They look at the current Bullis success and pay attention to how it is being done. The conclusion is, once again, Bullis is in the IAC, but as sort of a provisional member needed for scheduling purposes mostly.

It's not the 80's anymore. Many families now consider Bullis as well as Prep, STA, Sidwell, Landon. Bullis has 2 players that left Sidwell for Bullis. Rich/connected families don't have to wring their hands about the "reputation" of high schools.

Let's just say that those Bullis players who left Sidwell didn't do it for athletics.

talk about two polar opposite schools in so many ways.

lol. Basically the crux of your argument is that as long as you have so much money/connections that it doesn't matter where you go to school than Bullis is a fine place to go to school.

Bullis has no place on a list with Prep, Landon, StA or Sidwell. Unless, you're playing lax, save yourself the money and send your child to Whitman or Churchill instead. You'll get a much better education from a public school you don't pay for.

The obsession with Bullis is odd.

Yes, new money ... HS does not matter, nor does college.
