IAC Lacrosse 2019 Season

The damage is done, end of story.

Cilento does not have the best reputation across the league and that is a fact.

If Bullis wants to maintain its football status, they would easily receive 50 plus well qualified applicants.

Like Bullis ever cared what the rest of the league thought about them. Bullis views the IAC as a chance to compete and win (life). Sounds like the rest of the league views it as a tea party.

This place is an anonymous support group for people who have developed a complex losing to Bullis. That is a fact.

Bellistri is a good man, he served during the Iraq War, I could care less if he did cocaine or not.

He wasn’t fired.

His wife called the cops and they refused to charge.

She had to go to a commissioner and a judge to get charges.

The charges will be dropped.

I cannot imagine that the coach will be back. He needs a breather (and some help), if that article is correctly reporting the facts. Hopefully, the family can get this behind them.

The article only reported what the wife wrote in a "charging document' since the police refused to file one. So, no, the article does not report facts yet.

PSA: Anytime you read an article in the paper and it says the police report says.... XYZ... those are not facts... those are often just statements made to the police... if it says the police investigation says XYZ ... those statements are closer to the truth since investigations should (but don't always) have evidence to support the investigation.

Most area schools would move on, regardless of the outcome of the trial. Bullis had that crazy lacrosse revolt last summer, and they had a devil of a time making a decision.

I find it very disturbing a current Bullis booster is attempting to defend Cilento.

This latest episode is another black eye for Bullis and it will come down in the courts as a "he said" "she said" type of thing.

You really think current Bullis parents or even Bullis faculty members want him back on the payroll?

I suspect the BOT will decide the fate of Cilento even if the charges are dropped.

When people hate it's because you got something they want.

A little hardware maybe ; )

Have a good day

I find it odd the head of school tried to fire Bellistri last summer and now Coach Bellistri was just James Wash Post Coach of the year.

The HOS didn't try to get him fired. The guys who run DCE did.

Won the IAC then beat Hill and Salisbury, good enough for me.
Anonymous
But the jackass HOS ended up firing him, or at least let the AD do it. What a buffoon.

It was announced in the paper he was fired.

Because the DCE guys are backstabbers

So Landon recruited of 8th grade lacrosse players and gave them scholarships to attend. Do schools recruit 8th graders for sports normally?

I know Landon had 6 kids that were accepted to 9th go to 8th a few years back but now they are recruiting 8th graders?
