In this little, IAC world, HOW things are done does matter.

Based on decades of history, Bullis has never been seen as being quite up to snuff with the IAC schools on this side of the Potomac. The people that have sent their kids to Landon, STA, Prep and Sidwell (when it was an IAC member) never considered Bullis as an alternative.

They look at the current Bullis success and pay attention to how it is being done. The conclusion is, once again, Bullis is in the IAC, but as sort of a provisional member needed for scheduling purposes mostly.[/quote]

It's not the 80's anymore. Many families now consider Bullis as well as Prep, STA, Sidwell, Landon. Bullis has 2 players that left Sidwell for Bullis. Rich/connected families don't have to wring their hands about the "reputation" of high schools. [/quote]
