But it's absolutely insane to me the idea of calling a 35 year old woman washed up, has been, spent. It's so misogynist I just can't even wrap my head around it.

Is it possible to just dislike an artist without being so deeply offensive to women who have worked hard to make such a spectacular career?

It’s not misogyny. Male pop singers are generally washed up by their mid 30s too. Creative prime is teens thru late 20s. Everyone knows this. Why do you think singers lie about their ages? It’s a young man/woman’s industry. Also why Swift is orbiting much younger and organically more popular girls like Carpenter, Rodrigo, and Eilish.

If she did another year and a half of the eras tour it would surely sell out as her last one did. If that is washed up to you then I don’t know what you consider to be someone’s prime.

You're confusing touring with an old catalog with being a successful trend setting hit making pop star. She's basically a traveling Vegas act playing her old hits. 'Taylor's version' is quite literally re-branded 'greatest hits' crap that washed up bands used to pump out in the 70s 80s and 90s.

If she toured with TTPD and her upcoming album she’d still sell out every show without a doubt. People don’t pay thousands of dollars and travel around the world to see a washed up has-been. But you do you and we’ll just have fun without you

Rolling Stones are in their 80s and sell out tours. They haven't had a hit song in like 50 years. Washed up nostalgia acts with a large catalog print money.

Let’s wait and see how her new album does on the charts if that is your metric for whether someone is “washed up” or not . I might argue that if you are still able to sell out multiple tours, whether it is nostalgia or new music, you are far from being a has been. If Taylor’s music does not crack the top 10 for multiple weeks in a row then I will give it to you. I guess we will see…

Its the only podcast she’s done at all in the 5 million podcasts out there so people thinking she’s always trying to be front in center- nope.
It got over 10 million in views in 24 hours. She’s far from washed up. People are insane on here.

Swift's creative prime was probably... 2006 to 2015? Everything after is just tons of studio money buying the "it" hottest pop producers to manufacture faux hit songs they can astroturf to her brainwashed base.
Um, ok. Your standard are ridiculous. Taylor just finished the number one tour of all time. Let me repeat, top selling tour ever and she just finished that tour in 2024 so people absolutely adore her.

midnights and ttpd were masterpieces. The new albulm looks like junk based on lyric leaks, but her artistic peak was just her last two albums.

I would include Folklore and Evermore as masterpieces as well. Really hoping the new album isn’t a letdown.

The Life of album is 12 bangers. I don't think it's for the Folklore/Evermore crowd so much.

Taylor Swift will be like The Rolling Stones for people of her era. She will sell out tours for the rest of her life. So many people have deep memories attached to her.

Even if every futue album bombs, females aged 12-45 now have key memories linked to her and to being someone who likes her, so yea. And touring is where the money is.

Agreed. Look up the lyrics leaks. This one isn't for fans of her last 4 albums.

Where are the leaked lyrics? I am bad at the internet.

There was a leaked photo of the lyrics, quickly taken down. But people transcribed the lyrics. I see them in some closed reddit groups. They are floating around on Twitter too but don't know where.

Its possible they're a hoax but doubtful because that's where people got the song names that turned out to be true.

I love all kinds of music and I just recently heard a Taylor Swift song that I actually liked. So yeah, I like that one song. I couldn't tell you the names of any of her other songs because when I hear one it doesn't hit me so I pay no attention, don't look for the title, don't want to hear it again.
