| What is this bridge that was burned ? |
|
FCV bailed on ECNL in favor of GA a few years ago as a founding member.
ECNL didn't forget that. |
| You mean DA. And it was more than that |
| They crossed the Loudoun brass. |
| What does “more than that” mean? Seriously what is the story? Best team in the DMV and ECNL will not take them ? I can’t believe that |
Elaborate "best team" after that disaster of a Jeff Cup showcase for FCV. They aren't "the best" and that opinion isn't a barometer for taking a club into a league. Stability, proximity, financial stability, and you better believe other ECNL clubs wanting to accept them. FCV burnt their bridges and it'll be a merger or a decade until they join the best girls soccer league. |
Sock puppet. |
| Jeff Cup was good competition for FCV, showing the teams need to be playing with the other better teams on the east coast. I will admit that team weaknesses were exposed in all age groups, but that is also necessary for improvement. FCV has lots of talented kids. All in all, it was a good showcase with good competition, and room for growth and development. Most of those games could have gone either way. |
1. They are a club not a team 2. And what team do they have that is the best in the DMV? |
| Arlington Girls Academy is not as strong as FCV and they will do fine in the ECNL |
And your base of knowledge is..... |
| And how does this apply to this conversation? |
| Who cares? Who keeps starting these FCV bashing threads and to what end? Is your kid not getting the D1 scholarship so you are bitter and angry? |
|
Back to the question at hand - why is FCV considered to have burned their bridges with ecnl
I bet they would be accepted in a heartbeat |
They should be accepted in a heartbeat. That would greatly improve ECNL competition in the DMV |
