What happened to ECNL for FCV?

If posting a club record combining ECNL and CCL from U13 forward of 35-54-17 is doing something right then a fool and his money.

Loudoun as a club is 15-20-8 in ECNL and 20-34-9 in CCL.

They have 3 winning teams out of 12 representing their A and B teams.

If you removed the 07 record Loudoun would be 8-20-8 in ECNL.

FCV may drive hours to win 8-0 but at least as a club they win. It took Loudoun's best team OT to beat FCV.

For all the advantages that Loudoun has their record is abysmal and that is why Loudoun/ECNL Dad is here, day after day, night after night spreading FUD about every other league in the land. Because while his kid is wearing the patch she is still not sitting at the cool kids table because her club sucks. Loudoun sucks at ECNL, Loudoun sucks at CCL. The largest club in NOVA can't muster a winning record.

Then you should look at McLean, vda, bryc or Arlington. How many of the current fcv players came from Loudoun? Probably a lot. Ironic isn’t it?

Why couldn't Loudoun keep the players then? Loudoun is still so afraid of losing players they spend countless hours on these boards bashing GA. Imagine being such crappy ECNL club that you lose players to GA.

They lost them prior to getting ECNL. They left in droves and are all over the current FCV rosters. Since getting ECNL, a few have left here and there, but most have stayed.

No top players are leaving ECNL teams, including Loudoun to go to GAL now. Loudoun told their top players then to go to FCV DA sessions because they were partner clubs. Loudoun was a good faith partner and FCV wasn’t, bad mouthing LSC each step of the way. In the last year, I’d say Loudoun has gotten more talent from FCV than the other way around. Face it, as shitty as you think LSC is they are rising and FCV is dropping (like a stone).

The amount of time you spend here running down GA doesn't make you sound so confident. You need talent for your club and nobody is biting. Loudoun sucks and there are lots of other places to play before anyone joins Loudoun. You will collect kids who simply didn't catch on elsewhere.

Loudoun is everyone's "safe club".

Ok sounds good. Check back in 2 years, March 2023. We can see if FCV still exists. If CZ and BP are coaching there. If GAL still exists or becomes a part of some other league. Over that time Loudoun will slowly get better and better. If you are 2007 or younger, you may choose to go to McLean or VDA over Loudoun but no way you go to FCV if your head is screwed on straight.

I will make no promises regarding what will come of FCV. But FCV's possible failure will not bring success to Loudoun. You have the players already and you still suck. You can't recruit players because you suck. Nobody is going to drive out to Loudoun for a crap club. Until Loudoun proves that it coach what it already has it will never get better as a club. And instead of bleeding players to FCV, Loudoun will just bleed players out to VDA or McLean.

In case you forgot, players left Loudoun for McLean too. FCV was never really Loudoun's problem. Loudoun's problem is they suck at developing players. You are a giant rec club and really not much more. Your ECNL and CCL combined records demonstrate that as a club Loudoun fails to win at any competitive level above 12 years old.

Ok everyone has spoken their piece. Let’s see how it plays out.

Not the pp but I only care about my kid. In 2 years myself and most of the parents you are talking to will not care.

Sorry Loudoun Dad, but you created this thread to troll. Perhaps we should dig into Loudoun's NCSL and possible EDP records. I'm quite certain that in totality Loudoun has a losing club record, but yeah FCV, a club with two teams per age group and no rec program is your problem. LOL

And just for good measure I checked Loudoun's boys ECNL records. The boys side has a combined 20-27-13 record.

I suppose we are to believe the boys ECNL side having a losing record is also somehow FCV's fault?

And yet somehow Loudoun's didn't get any better. FCV lost an entire boys program of two teams per age group and Loudoun failed to cash in. How bad can you be to not pick up any of FCV's scraps?

Here’s some more chum for the clowns - fcv only long term option is to merge with Loudoun. One happy family sending checks to tsj
