Stop this nonsense. The club and coaches make the players elite not the league. There may be more exposure due to the large number of clubs in ECNL but GAL offers a competitive pathway to college soccer. Just because by DD doesn't go to an Ivy League school doesn't mean that a good career in not in her future. Not everyone has to go to Harvard. VT is perfectly fine for me and my family. There are plenty of successful people from VT. Do what makes the most sense for you and your DD. Forget this elite league nonsense.

My DC plays for FCV and is developing into a strong player. She has learned a lot in the current environment. She likes her teammates and they have good chemistry. Is it always rosy, no. However, I wish the bashing would stop and those jealous of FCV would back off. You do you and leave those that want to be at FCV at FCV.

No, you need to be at Loudoun. Loudoun is the largest club in the state. Loudoun Soccer represents Loudoun County. Loudoun reps the red. Loudoun plays in ECNL. Please join Loudoun Soccer club.

If waiting ten years to get ECNL only due to FCV's decision to leave ECNL is "outfoxing" then, ummmm, ok. VDA must have been playing the long game too then, and BRYC and Arlington, and Pipeline and the nearly 70 new ECNL clubs in the last 4 years.
