Hoax: Hate crime attackers: "This is MAGA country."

Anonymous
He really did kill so much hope for future victims of assault who will wonder whether they would be believed.

It’s not just a talking point. Like, that’s a real thing he just did.

How can we reach people like him who do not feel like they're being heard and show love, compassion, and support?

These are the thoughts I'll be ruminating on instead of the callousness I am reading here from some of you.

I can guarantee that you are not black. You are talking like a self loathing white person. The black community is disgusted by his actions and think he deserves to be punished.

This is so true.

TMZ reports "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett was attacked by two men in a Subway restaurant.

Sources close to the actor told TMZ the attackers put his head in a noose and screamed "This is MAGA country."

It happened around 2 a.m. Monday. As the actor walked out of the restaurant, someone allegedly yelled, "Aren't you that f****t Empire n*****?"

The men were reportedly wearing ski masks, and attacked Smollett, breaking a rib and pouring bleach on him. The actor was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Chicago Police Department is reportedly investigating the incident as battery, and treating it as a possible hate crime.

This is absolutely horrible - and is exactly why so many of us have the feelings we do about Trump supporters.

Is Jussie going to jail for his hate crime?

I certainly hope so. The bolded from the PPP just makes me want to run as far and fast from liberals as possible. Truly disgusting.

His hate crime was not against himself. In carrying out this hoax, he perpetuated a hate crime against all Trump supporters and President Trump in particular.

THIS. ^^^

The FBI might hit him for using the mail to send himself a threatening letter with a crushed up white powdery substance (later found to be Tylenol). Using the mail to conduct a terroristic threat might draw federal charges.

Actually the most fitting punishment would be for Smollett to be seated on stage for the duration of the 2020 Democrat Convention wearing a dunce cap.

I like that too. It would be a nice visual reminder of what voters are getting into if they vote for the Democratic candidate. Particularly Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, et al.

It WAS hate crime.

Except the victims are Trump supporters everywhere.

He hates himself. Who has all of that anger - enough anger to self-sabotage?

It's almost sad in a way and definitely pathetic.

I wonder if they'll put him on a watch list for self-harm. I think once he faces his wrongdoing, he won't be able to handle the consequences.

I think a lot of DCUM liberals have similar hatred/anger issues. I've never seen so many hateful posts directed at Trump voters than here on DCUM.

Ruminate all you want. The normal people will be calling him out, as he richly deserves.

Sorry. I don't think that is the issue here at all.
He pushed this story and this ugly narrative because he KNEW he would be believed by millions. He knew the compliant media and the social justice warriors would jump on this story as an opportunity to advance their hatred for our president. Nobody pushed him to take these actions. He had a platform - more than most people have. But, he chose to use it to lie and create a hateful narrative because he simply knew people would believe him. He spread hate by doing what he did.

This idiot comes from a big show biz family. He was getting paid good money to be on TV and make music. He had his social media followers that would listen to him. His only run in with police came in 2007 for a DUI (where he gave police his brother's name). This dude was so oppressed that he had to hire 2 Nigerians to mock lynch him and it blew up in his face.

This guy did not have it tough and he deserves no sympathy. He wanted to brand himself the "gay Tupac". This was all about his enormous ego and a hatred for Trump.

Whoa - he tried to blame his brother for his own DUI?? I wonder what his brother thinks of him. Incredible.

Because they are deranged and actually believe that they're always right and anyone who disagrees with them is wrong?

If he lied, he should be tarred and feathered

What do you think are the reasons they would give for why they hate you?

No. I think he will reveal he has been struggling with drugs and alcohol. Everyone who commits a crime goes to rehab. No one ever takes accountability for their actions.

He’ll end up OD’ing on something within a few years.

His obit article will say something like ..... “after years of bouts with drug addiction and attempts to self-medicate to alleviate the pain caused by a failed, drug-fueled plot at political activism to draw attention to racist attacks by Trump supporters, Smollet was found unresponsive in his bathroom after failing to show up at his job at ________,where he teaches acting to high school students. He was pronounced dead at the scene”.
