Jussie Smollett indicted today.

Former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett was indicted Tuesday in Chicago by special prosecutor Dan Webb, stemming from the alleged racist and anti-gay attack on him that occurred in January of 2019, a source confirms to FOX 32 News.

He is due in court February 24.

Jussie Smollett has been indicted by a grand jury on six counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly lying to police about his claims of a racist and homophobic attack against him in January 2019, a special prosecutor announced on Tuesday.

Special prosecutor Dan Webb issued a statement announcing the indictment against the 37-year-old former "Empire" star. He is due in court on Feb. 24, Fox 32 reported citing a source.

What an extraordinary waste of taxpayer dollars by going after, what amounts to, something that deserves nothing more than a fine. But he offended white conservatives. All of sudden when its black people connected to liberals, they become law and order advocates. Meanwhile, their President and his cronies continue to operate above the law with impunity.

What I do find interesting is that LE will move heaven and Earth to go after black people they do wrong...particularly for BS. Its telling that JS will likely face harsher penalties than actual bad guys like corrupt POs that kill innocent black people out of racial fear.

You guys should savior these "culture war" wins like JS getting back in the news and Kaepernick being blackballed. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Huh. Who knew false accusations - of ANYONE - had anything to do with “culture wars.” Smollett is the person who wasted taxpayer money by allowing an extensive investigation to go on when he knew full well the entire thing was bogus. He deserves whatever he gets. But sure, since he’s black, people like you will insist his punishment is due to his skin color. So typical.

Jussie Smollett on many occasions apparently visited a very upscale bathhouse with one of the Nigerians he is now maintaining tried to lynch him for being gay and black. The establishment's records will probably be subpoenaed along with any and all information that Google has one him (emails, geolocations, voicemails, searches, whatever is stored on their clouds etc). All of this will serve to further humiliate him but at this point it's almost pointless.

I don't understand why he just doesn't admit what he did, go to rehab, maybe even stage a fake suicide attempt, go on The View and Don Lemon and ask for forgiveness. It would be better than this prolonged public humiliation.
