| I was just talking to a male acquaintance and he was describing a woman as a great catch because of “her looks, her job, and her cooking”. I thought is that really it? Seems really simplified, but I know men are driven by different things then women. Men, what would make a woman someone you could have a serious relationship with or marry? |
| That's not enough, and cooking I could take or leave. Is she good in bed? Is she a nag? Do we have similar interests? What's her family like? |
| Their mom |
| Kind, good job, good looking |
Riight, I’m gonna dump a woman because she doesn’t have a good job. Riight. |
| Smart, funny, good looking and good in the sack. |
These go a very long way yes. |
If I'm dating two women who are both kind and attractive and one's a doctor and the other is in retail... |
| In the DC area a good job is really high on the list for both men and women. |
| My husband wanted me to be skinny and smart. I'm still skinny after a bunch of kids and we are pretty happy so I guess it worked. |
This is pretty much the exhaustive list for me |
That plus good homemaker |
| List above is spot on. Good job is a must in this area although my wife hasn’t worked in more than 20 years after my youngest was born. |
+1,000 |
| Mental health. |
