I said earlier in a different post that Trump is at his most dangerous right now. Republicans are desperate to keep control as well so they will support him if it means keeping their control.

He is desperate. He is panicked. He is powerful.

Even if/when Biden is inaugurated he will have left so much chaos. Continuity and transfer is the name of the game but Trump doesnt care.

Same with Nixon and Watergate.

The lesson of Nixon’s resignation was that Republicans needed their “own” media ecosystem that would defend a Republican President at all costs. This is why Roger Ailes created Fox News, as he was dismayed as a young Nixon staffer that GOP senators and the media abandoned the President.

NY state needs to go after everyone for the sake of the Republic.
