Interesting, that didn't bother me. I was like -- how can you still have your precious video STILL ON VHS!!! |
One thing I will say for this episode is that I did start shopping for fire escape ladders. Perhaps I'm not the only one since the best selling fire escape ladder at Amazon is out of stock. |
On Saturday, the day before the big fire episode, we went to a puppet show that turned out to be about fire safety. I was wondering if the universe was trying to tell me something. |
Can any of us realistically say that we or our spouses would have figured out how to lower people off the roof by using a sheet? Curious if I’m the only one who thinks it’s unlikely. |
Well he was in construction and went to 'Nam. |
This. My father would totally be able to figure out something like that on the fly because he's a really hands-on kind of thinker (if that makes any sense) who can figure out how to fix or build anything. My DH is a smart guy, but is much more about numbers than that kind of hands-on common sense. |
Ditto. Ripped my heart right out. |
My DH would know exactly how to use a bed sheet to lower us down to the ground in case of fire. I have no doubt. He's very handy with a problem-solver, take-charge type of approach to things. Me, on the other hand...the thought would probably cross my mind but I'm not sure I could execute it so that it actually worked. |

they should have at least made Randalls hair gray so that would be more clear. |
It was slightly grey - not sure if this link will work. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DVPvkJtWAAAMptN.jpg:large |
You aren't the only one! It's been on my to do list for two years. |
I thought that was one of the most realistic agings of an actor that I've ever seen. |
