He's not a simpleton, his mind works differently. He's an athlete, but he plays very smart. It's a skill to read people, situations and adapt. There are many ways to be intelligent without being a literary genius. Book smart is not the only smart. |
quite literally insane |
More importantly, what does it say to the young GIRLS that she is choosing to settle with a “simpleton?” Because I see it as her saying, sure you can talk about girls ruling the world, but in the end, we all just want to be curled up next to a man who has inherent disrespect towards women! I love TTPD! It’s my favorite TS album. |
He is a weirdo for sure. Maybe she's mining him for some really good material. |
long time DCUMer and I agree with this |
If anything, I saw her being mildly annoyed that he was playing dumb and talking down about himself. |
What does she talk to him about?? Other than sourdough bread, lol. It was downright embarrassing how she had to explain to him and his brother everything: who Hamlet and Shakespeare are, what Liz Taylor is famous for, what numerology means, what opal is, what half of the words in her vocabulary mean. |
+1. TTPD, Folklore & Evermore are her best work imo. Ironically all inspired by her anguish over the same man. |
+1 he excels at what he does and has the ambition to branch out and successfully market himself (even the podcast is an example). Obviously way more successful by any metric than the vast majority of DCUMers. |
Her last album was beautiful and literary. The cringy lyrics were funny. I have no interest in other eras and never listened to her before midnights. Will like not like the "bangers" on the new album. |
I can't help but like Tyler and Jason. They are extremely easy to listen to and just seem like a lot of fun. I was impressed with the Taylor on the podcast. Interesting to listen to her for 2 hours. She has great chemistry with Travis (obviously) AND Jason. You can tell they are all close.
Next - I want to hear her on Kylie's podcast. |
+1 There are so many different types of intelligence. I'm dyslexic, and I'm sure I often come across as unintelligent and not well spoken or quick witted because of my processing delays. However, I'm a math wiz and have close to a photographic memory. My husband is also dyslexic, but is an extremely successful engineer. He's never read a book for pleasure in his life, but is so smart in other ways. Also, maybe for once, she wants someone who is supportive, fun, and mentally healthy to be around. Joe and Matty both had mental health issues. I'd take someone who was positive and supportive over someone who is depressed and anxious any day regardless of how book smart or well read they are. |
Dear Anonymous, They aren’t slagging you they are slagging Travis. He WANTS his name out there for money. And he can handle the heat otherwise why post those tweets? -Anonymous |
"can we not do that right now?" Sooo Kylie. |
