Confessions

I quit my job last month.
I confess that I thought I would fee pretty bored staying at home and going to school only, but I'm not.
I confess that I'm loving it... being lazy around the house.

I confess that I wish my hubby would just get a job already!!! So tired of being supportive spouse and worried over money. At this point he could turn to something illegal...drug dealing, prostitution, murder-for-hire...and I would just be relieved.

OMG people seriously can you all stop bickering. If you want to discuss genocide or the shooter start a new thread. Don't take over and ruin the one decent thread this site has ever had.

My life wasn't ruined at all. I had a wonderful childhood, have two degrees, love my career and have a wonderful family. And I confess I smoke one on my birthday and anniversary. Oh no, my life is ruined! Throw me in with the rapists and murderers.

The problem is not with a health habit.
Once you're in the US such habits are AGAINST THE LAW. What will ruin the person's life is not "smoking pot", but the consequences and implications of such attitudes when facing charges for your "cultural health habits".
Tell me if teenagers here, in this culture have the maturity and the need to "smoke one" occasionally. They're not even allowed to drink before age 21!
Reality is knocking on your door.
Do you think the prosecutor will care if you did it in a "recreational" way?

now, about the part in bold... different people have different tolerance levels. just because it didn't harm them you cannot use it as a ground rule to convince the world that it's ok to use it indiscriminately.
