Cersei says she wont rest until Sansa's head is on a stake. Little Finger agrees to bring her down. Does anyone else recall this? Is little finger not after marrying Sansa at all but after killing her for the Lannisters so he can be Wardon of the North.

I don't remember this at all, but that may be because I assumed he was lying. I feel like Little Finger genuinely cares (cared) about Catlyn and Sansa, even if it is probably in a selfish/possessive sort of way. I think he wants Sansa to marry him because of his feelings for her mother and her and because marrying within the Tully family is a sign of his success as he measured it in childhood.

You can google the clip of Cersei and Little Finger talking in this scene... but Cersei def tells him that he can be wardon of the north if she gets Sansa's head on a stake.

No one knows what Littlefinger will do until he does it. He told Ned he would get the Gold Cloaks for him way back when but ended up siding with Cersei. Cersei's power (appears at least) on the wane, he may switch allegiances.

Agree - LF is such a wild card. He manipulates and is pretty much 2-faced in terms of alliances. He poisoned Joffrey, but let Sansa take the blame, but then creates himself to be her ally, but then sends her off to marry Ramsey, and the rest of the convoluted list goes on.

NP. Little Finger is the one who told Cesei where Sansa was. He told Cesei about the Stark-Bolton wedding. He told Cesie that he controlled the Lord of the Vale. After Cesei railed about the Bolton's being traitors and marching on Winterfell, LF told her to let the Boltons and Stannis army fight and tear each other a part. The Vale army would finish off what was left of those armies in return, LF wanted to be named Warden of the North by Royal decree. Cesie said he could have it all as long as he bring Stansa's head on a pike.

I think this is what LF wants most. Power. He would rule the entire North with Kings Landing more than 1000 miles away.

But let's be honest.. Cersei doesn't have much control over anything anymore. So bringing her Sansas head won't get him anywhere. His best approach is to marry her or manipulate her some kind of way

True that.

I don't understand the speculation that Jon is a Targaryan. I thought the books and the show stated that all Targaryans were silver blonde.

I agree. And Jon and Dany don't look anything alike. I do think that Jon's dad was a a Targaryan though. The starks do have dark hair. Sansa is reddish from her mom's side.

Doubtful. Her birth at Dragonstone was well known.

He's been locked up in a dungeon. Does he even care about the wife and child? Jaimie promised him something else.

The book does it more justice and made it more understandable why dopey Edmure gave up the castle. (Dungeons, death of child, former banner-men dying, etc.).

Ned, Rob, Bran, Rickon and Arya all have dark hair. If Jon had a Stark parent, the other parent could be a Targ and Jon could still have dark hair.

Almost always are, when they inter-marry. But not when they marry folks from outside the family -- long history of them marrying people from Dorne and them having darker features.

The whole story started based on act of Littlefinger -- him having Jon Arryn murdered, causing the King to go to Winterfell, having Ned go to Kings Landing, etc.

Catelyn was Littlefinger's rosebud (a la Citizen Kane).

Right, she is Daenerys Stormborn, for the intense storm on Dragonstone the night she was born. I don't remember any indication that she and Jon are twins, although they are about the same age. There are theories that Meera is Jon's twin.

Littlefinger's motto is "chaos is a ladder." He doesn't care what happens. All he does is sow as much conflict as possible and seek to take as much advantage of it as he can, in order to gain personal power for himself.

He's a high-functioning sociopath.

I seriously am so sad about it being over. I can't believe I have to wait another year for more. Definite withdrawal here.
